LOOLA BeachKeeper

Our LOOLA BeachKeeper Program runs beach clean-ups throughout our Live Oak area in Santa Cruz County beaches frequently during all seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.

Please try and use Green Access trails when entering our beach, but if not, please stay on trails when using our Red Access trail entrances.

UCSC’s Alternative Spring Break Program/LOOLA BeachKeeperJLeopold_LOOLA_UCSC_CleanUp

 

Fifteen students from UC Santa Cruz  Alternative Spring Break program spent the week in Live Oak, with an itinerary that included planting 10 trees at Mesa Verde Garden, building benches at Chanticleer Park, and a LOOLA BeachKeeper Clean-Up at our Santa Cruz County Parks Department 21st Avenue County Park beach in March 2014.

We are very proud that our First District Supervisor John Leopold shared our involvement in USCS’s Alternative Spring Break program in Live Oak.
